Atlantis the Palm Hotel Update
Serge Zaalof, the hotel’s managing director, commented: «We serve more than 5 million people a year, and we have many regular visitors from Europe and the Persian Gulf. We need updates and innovations».
The famous hotel complex opened in 2008, and in February of this year announced its plans for the reconstruction and renovation of facilities. Official sources promise that we will see the updated version of the hotel in 2018. Expansion and reconstruction of Atlantis will cost approximately 1.5 billion dollars, but according to forecasts it is expected that costs will be covered within 3 months after opening.
Serge Zaalof also announced his plans to transform and increase the area of the water park, but has not yet announced the details. The managing director of Atlantis appreciated the update.
Wild Wadi and the forthcoming discovery of Legoland, and said: «This is good for Dubai, for families. The parks of the city will be a great place for visitors and for our customers too. This is very good for Dubai as a tourist destination».
