Beach library opened in Dubai

Dubai Municipality has opened the first beach library on the Umm Suqeim public beach. A new educational project will be expanded, so soon reading points will also be opened on the beaches of Jumeirah and Mamzar. This initiative was introduced to improve literacy and spread culture among vacationers at sea.

The first library is designed according to all environmental laws — it works on solar energy. 360 books of various genres and themes in English and Arabic languages ​​are presented to beach visitors - they can be picked up and returned for free before leaving. There are also books for children.
