A man beat a woman right inside the mosque

The attacker attacked the woman immediately after he made her an indecent proposal and was refused.

Dubai: A businessman beat a housewife in a mosque after she refused to meet with him and refused his indecent offer.

43-year-old housewife from Bangladesh received a phone call from an unknown number, the caller offered her a job. When a housewife asked an unknown person to say how he got her number, a 37-year-old Bangladeshi businessman said that he got it from one of the cafeteria employees. The woman immediately hung up when an unknown person invited her to meet and have sex.

Two days later, when the woman went to pray at the mosque, the attacker made her unawares, walked behind and started beating her.

Eyewitnesses immediately called the police and ambulance to the mosque where the attack occurred, and a 37-year-old citizen of Bangladesh was detained.

Prosecutors accused the suspect of harming a woman. A Dubai medical examiner confirmed that the woman was not seeing well with one eye.

The suspect pleaded not guilty when he appeared last week in the Dubai Court of First Instance. The hostess told the prosecutors: «When he called me and offered to become his mistress, I refused. Later he attacked me in the mosque while I was praying … he threw me on the floor of the mosque and repeatedly hit me. He broke my cheekbone and I got another bruised eye».
